Bently Nevada 3500/15 Universal AC Power Supply Module — 3500/15-05-05-00 (106M1079-01)

The Bently Nevada 3500/15 AC and DC power supplies are half-height modules that install in the designated slots on the left side of a 3500 series rack. This configured item, 3500/15-05-05-00, carries two Universal AC power supplies (top slot and bottom slot) with no agency approval option, and matches spare part number 106M1079-01 (Universal AC Power Supply Module). Each supply is paired with a Universal AC Power Input Module (PIM), spare part 106M1081-01.

Redundant Rack Power

In the Bently Nevada 3500 Series Machinery Protection System, a rack can hold one or two power supplies in any combination of AC and DC, and either supply alone can power a full rack. When two supplies are installed, the unit in the lower slot is the primary and the upper unit is the backup. Removing or inserting either module does not disturb rack operation as long as the second supply is installed — which is exactly what the 05-05 configuration provides.
