AI-Tek Speed Connection Cable CN79860-3800
The AI-Tek speed connection cable CN79860-3800 is designed for use with AI-TEK (formerly AIRPAX) speed sensors, which are available in both active and passive configurations including Hall effect sensors.
Sensor Technology Overview
AI-TEK Instruments produces variable reluctance sensors that utilize advanced magnetic technology. The internal sensor structure consists of a magnet, magnetic sheet, and coil. Rapid magnetic field changes induce AC voltage signals in the coil, producing sine wave outputs. AI-TEK employs three primary technologies: variable magnetic resistance, magnetoresistance, and Hall effect to convert motion into electrical signals.
Environmental Durability
AI-TEK speed sensors from Artek are engineered to withstand harsh industrial, automotive, and aviation environments. These sensors provide reliable continuous operation for many years under challenging conditions including vibration, impact, high temperature, humidity, oil contamination, and corrosive environments.
