The VEGAFLEX 81 is a TDR (time-domain reflectometry) sensor for continuous level and interface measurement of liquids. Even in applications with vapour, build-up, foam generation and condensation, the sensor delivers precise and reliable measured values. It is the economical solution for level and interface measurement, and this configuration ships with an exchangeable 316L rod, a Class 150 RF flange and a factory-mounted PLICSCOM display module.

Application

Guided wave radar is the preferred choice in narrow vessels, standpipes and bypass chambers where free-space radar would suffer from reflections. Typical installations include solvent and chemical storage tanks, oil-water separators, reactor feed vessels and condensate collectors. The 316L rod with FKM seal and the ATEX II 1/2G Ex db IIC T6 approval allow deployment in hazardous zone 0/1 areas across Europe.
